December Events

Hi Everyone. I hope you all had a great time at the last Cruise Night. Due to a vote at the last meeting, the Cruise Nights for December, January, and February will be abbreviated; that is, they will not feature music, or raffles. We can still have a great time anyway. I'll have some photos of the Cruise Night coming up in the next few days, and the December Rollin' Relics of the Month. Hope to see everyone at the Breakfast Run on the 13th. See you soon.

December Cruise Night

Hi everyone. Sorry it has been so long since my last post, but I've been very busy lately. I'll do my best to get you some photos from tonight's Cruise Night, and a new Rollin' Relic of the Month soon. Don't forget to bring a toy or two (or a child's coat or jacket) to donate to Santa, for a needy child to tonight's Cruise Night at the Pizza Factory. I hope to see you there.

Time Marches On Photos

Hi guys. I can't wait to see everyone at the next meeting. Don't forget, we have our monthly meeting this Tuesday (Nov. 25) at 6:00PM at the Santa Fe Plaza. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to update the site, but I've had a lot of work to do. If you haven't noticed, I haven't even had enough time to choose a Rollin' Relic of the Month; so I'll try and feature both the November and December Relics next month. To tide you over, I've got a few photos of the Time Marches On Car Show and clock dedication ceremony to honor Buck Shaffer. Enjoy--and if I don't see you, Happy Thanksgiving!

I was glad to see so many of you out at this weekend's events. We had a pretty good turnout for the November Cruise Night, and quite a few members showing off their rides at the "Time Marches On" clock dedication ceremony downtown Saturday. Here are a few photos of the Cruise Night, last Friday, to tide you over; I'll also have some photos of the "Time Marches On" show from Saturday coming up an a day or two. Enjoy...

Rollin' Relics' Second Annual Engine Raffle

Would you like to win a beautiful, new, locally built Chevy 350 engine? Well, for only a $5 donation, you could be entered in a raffle--hosted by the Rollin' Relics Car Club--to win this custom built motor.

The engine is a Chevy 350, 9.35-1 compression ratio, four bolt main, with a 292 Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock intake manifold, and Pete Jackson gear drive, just to name a few goodies (not pictured: new headers). Built by Don Howard--of Sierra Street Rods of Porterville--this mill would make a great start to a new project, or the final piece of a hot rod build.

To enter, just talk to any Rollin' Relic member; or come on down to one of our Cruise Nights the first Friday of every month. Five dollars gets you a ticket, and the winner will be drawn at the Rollin' Relics Car Show in May 2009.
