Hi Guys: Just a reminder that the Rollin’ Relics meet every Saturday morning at 7:00AM at Hergesheimer Donut Factory for Derelict Doughnuts.

We will also have the monthly meeting Tuesday November 29th at 6:00PM at the Porterville Senior Center. Dinner will be at Denny’s on Highway 190 after the meeting.

Toys for Tots will also be collected on December 2nd at the December Cruise Night.

Hi guys here is the new events calendar for this month. Sorry I took a little while to get it up. There are also a few notes.

The breakfast run will be to Apple Annie's in Tulare. Meet @ Porterville Trailer's parking lot @ 8am, July 9th.

July 24th, Sunday, the Small Town Cruisers have invited us to join them in a cruise to Three Rivers, "River View Restaurant". Meet at Spruce and Hwy 65 Chevron for a 9:45 am departure. After lunch, a cruise back to "Wild Flower Cafe", for dessert.

Upcoming: August 27th, Porterville Monte Vista School, will have their annual car show to raise funds for School play ground improvements.

Election results. Jim Pettit -- President, Jim Gozzo --Vice President and Don Bader is the Treasurer.

Hi Guys:

Here is the Calendar for June with a few additions.

--June 10th, Porterville Air Faire will have a Show & Shine @ the Airport.

--June 11th, Porterville Knights of Columbus will have a Show at the new Catholic Church.

--June 25th, Club Picnic. It will be a POT LUCK, bring a dish to share, place settings, drinks and chair's. Bartlett Park, arbor # 16, lunch @ noon, show-up before that time, to get a good spot.

--$ 25 Club Dues are payable now, the month of June. After June, they will increase to $ 35.

Hi guys and happy May Day. I know you are all looking forward to the upcoming 2011 Rollin’ Relics Car Show next Saturday (May 7th), but there are also a few other events to look at as well. Here is the current calendar of events as well as a few notes and additions.

May 2nd is the deadline to get raffle prizes in, to get recognized for the contribution on the Car Show "Schedule of Events". Raffle prizes will be accepted thru the morning of the show, but they won't be included on the printed "Thank You", at the Car Show. Drop prizes by Sierra Street Rods or John Dillon's.
May 2nd will be the last Car Show Committee Meeting, 6 pm, Pizza Factory.
May 5th will be the stuffing of the goodie bags @ John Dillons house. If you have items for the goodie bags drop them by Sierra Street Rods or John Dillon's. We will want to make-up about 100-120 goodie bags.
May 14th, Breakfast run will be to Perko's in Exeter. Meet at Porterville Trailer center @ 8:30 am, for departure.
May 21st, the group leaving to the Visalia Downtown Car Show, meet at the Porterville Trailer Center @ 6 am, for departure. YES, THEY ARE LEAVING AT 6 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 28th, the group leaving to the Wasco Car Show, meet @ the Terra Bella Shell station, Hwy 65 & Ave 95, @ 7am.

April Calendar of Events

Hi guys. Here is the current calendar of events with a few additions.

On April 5th approval of the Rollin’ Relics Annual Car Show will go before the Porterville City Council at 7:00pm at the council chambers. If able, please attend to show support for our car show.

April 11th will be the Car Show Committee Meeting at 6pm at the Pizza Factory. We are still in need of Merchant Plaques and raffle prizes. Don Bader has the list of business's that haven't been contacted. Call him if you need some leads.

April 15th is the Annual Sierra Street Rods BBQ at the hot rod shop. Bring your car and eat for free. No car, $50 per person. Starts at 11am and goes until the foods gone.

Every Saturday morning Donut Derelicts meet at Hergershirmer's at 6:00am till 8:00am. This is located directly south of the Pizza Factory in Porterville.

Porterville Adult Day Services(PADS) will have their annual ROCKATHON on the 25th and 26th. The club donated $ 250 towards the event. The next club meeting will be 6 pm @ Santa Fe Senior Center.

Hi everyone. Here is the first Rollin’ Relics event calendar of the new year. I’d also like to note that there will also be a Dinner Dance Committee meeting on January 11th, 6:00pm at the Pizza Factory. Also Don Bader has been generous enough to volunteer as the Car Show Committee Chairman. He is planning a meeting this month and could use as many volunteers as possible. Hi guys. Here is the 2010 November calendar. We’ve got our monthly Cruise Night next Friday at the Pizza Factory. Here are also a few notes and additions, courtesy of Tim Day.

On November 6th, the line-up for the Tulare Vets Parade will begin at 8:00AM. On November 11th, the line-up time for the Porterville Vets Parade is 7am, at School Street; this is the street that runs south side of Bays Chili Dogs. On November 18th, the Dinner Dance committee will meet at the Pizza Factory, 6 pm. The committee needs more members to help in putting on the Dinner Dance, on February 12th, 2011.

Hi guys. Sorry I haven’t been posting as much as I should lately. Here are a few updates for this month and next courtesy of Tim Day.

First, is the flyer for the American Legion Riders Chapter 20 Charity Event. At the last meeting, the Rollin Relics membership, gave $ 250 to the American Legion Charity Event for expenses of mailing packages to the soldiers. The Rollin Relics membership also decided to collect items for the Care Packages, at the November Cruise Night. Items needed are listed on the flyer. The second flyer is the "Joint Club Fall Cruise" to Three Rivers. Both events are open to members and non-members. So bring your friends for a good time.

Hi guys. I know it’s a little late, but here is the September calendar for the Rollin’ Relics Car Club. Also of note, tomorrow (Sept. 17) the site of the Exeter Cruise has been changed to Frosty King. They want to have as many 50's and 60's cars there for a picture, which will be painted as the new mural, on the wall behind Frosty King (originally Frosty Cone).

Don’t forget, this Saturday Sept. 18th, will be the Rollin’ Relics Poker Run. Meet at the Porterville Airport bright and early, the event will begin at 8am.

Rollin’ Relics Classified Update

Here are the two latest items for sale. First a 1966 VW Beatle. This one is about 95% restored, needing just a paint job. Instead of the original 1300cc flat four engine, this one has an upgraded 1600cc. Asking $5,000 OBO.

Also for sale is this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. This show car is a must for serious ‘Vette enthusiasts. With a performance engine and completely custom dash and interior this head-turner must be seen in person, as photos don’t do it justice. Asking price is $28,000.

Hi Guys. It looks like the weather might just play nice long enough for our Cruise Night. Don’t forget to be there tomorrow, April 2nd. Here’s a copy of the Calendar for April 2010 in case you didn’t get a chance to make it to the last meeting.

We’ve still got a lot of work left to do for the upcoming Rollin’ Relics Car Show on May 1st. We need to get more sponsors for the merchant trophies ($25 each) and raffle prizes. Contact for Merchant Plaques is John Dillion or Sierra Street Rods. We will not publish or sell ads in the Car Show Paper this year. Car Show Chairman is Don Howard.

A few adds to the Calendar-- National Street Rod Association(NSRA) at Bakersfield on April 23, 24 & 25. The club will be there with a area and banner. A & W Cruise Night at Exeter on April 16th.

Quick Event Update

Just a quick update to post some new and updated flyers. The first is the more “official” version of the Poker Run ‘09 Flyer. If you would like your own copy of this release for print, just click on it and print one out. This version is slightly different from the one originally posted earlier due to the notable absences of the event date and club insignia.

Next is the flyer given to the Rollin’ Relics from the Veterans Park Car Show. This is their first car show sponsered by Wal-Mart and Nasty Habitz Car Club to benefit the Valley Children’s Hostital. This event will take place Saturday, August 8th just after our monthly breakfast run. I hope this helps out.

Hi everyone. It was great to see so many of you at the Cruise Night last night. We had lots of great cars, people, and prizes. I’ll post some of the photos later, but first, here is the July calendar of events for anyone who missed the meeting earlier this week.

Meeting Tonight

Hi guys. As you all probably know, the Rollin’ Relics’ Car Club will have their monthly meeting tonight at 6:00 PM at the Santa Fe Plaza in Porterville. This is a great time to pay your dues, if you haven’t done so already. After today, there will be an additional $10 fee for late dues.

The Rollin’ Relics’ Car Club will also have their monthly Cruise Night on July 3rd, at the Pizza Factory in Porterville. Hope to see you all soon.
