Hi guys. I know it's a little late..ok, maybe a lot late; but here is the April calendar of events for the Rolin' Relics Car Club. Don't forget, we've got our monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 28th, our Pre-Car Show Cruise Night on May 1st at the Pizza Factory, and of course, the Rollin' Relics' Car Show on Saturday, May 2nd. Upcoming Events
Hi everyone. I hope everyone is doing good. I just wanted to update the site and tell everyone about a few events that are coming up soon. Hopefully, everyone knows about the upcoming Rollin' Relics Car Show and the Engine Raffle, but I'll also go over a few of the details:
- Saturday, April 11th: The Rollin' Relics will hold their monthly Breakfast Run. This time, the cruise will take place at the Porterville Airport.
- Saturday, April 11th: Aero Dogs Monthly Cruise Night in Tulare.
- Saturday, April 18th: Kingsburg Downtown Car Show
- Saturday, April 18th: A&W Root Beer's Cruise Night
- Friday, May 1st: The Rollin' Relics Monthly Cruise Night at the Pizza Factory in Porterville. Music, raffle prizes, and pre-registration for the Rollin' Relics 2009 Car Show.
- Saturday, May 2nd: Rollin' Relics 2009 Car Show and Engine Raffle. Engine Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each from any participating Rollin' Relics member. The Engine is a Chevy 350 V-8, rebuilt by Sierra Street Rods of Porterville, CA.

The Rollin’ Relics Car Club of Porterville will present its 9th Annual Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, May 2nd at Veterans Park in Porterville, corner of Henderson and Newcomb. Registration is from 8 am to 11 am, show starts at 9 am with the singing of the “National Anthem” by Yvonne Fiori. The show ends at 3 pm with the awards and pictures of the Car and Motorcycle winners. Various Merchants and local city officials will present “Special Trophy’s” to the cars of their choice. 7 Major trophies were crafted and assembled from pistons that ran in Darrel Waltrip’s NASCAR car at Pocono. These special trophies will be awarded to the cars with the best engine, paint and upholstery. Best custom and stock bike, as well as “Best of Show” of the car entries, will also receive one of these “Special Crafted Piston Trophies”. Raffle Prize tickets, Motor tickets, Crafts, Food and Drinks will be available for purchase all day long. The Show is open to all year models, with no restriction, as well as under construction vehicle, with a special trophy for this category. DJ Roy Macomber will spin the music at the Friday night Cruise Night and Saturday during the Show. Porterville Police Canine unit will present a Demonstration mid morning, south of the awards pavilion. Presentation to the winners of the 7 major “Piston” trophies, the drawing for the “350 Chevy motor”, and 50/50 raffle, will close the Show by 3 pm. Pre-registration fee is $ 25 and $ 30 on the day of the show, which includes Event T-shirt, goodie bag and dash plaque. Entry forms are available at Sierra Street Rods, Designs by Dillon and various businesses’ around town. Or you may Pre-register at the Pre-show Cruise night on Friday, May 1st at the Pizza Factory, corner of Porter Road and Henderson. Friday Cruise night starts at 5 pm, with a show and shine, and ends whenever, with drawing for Raffle prizes and the 50/50. Spectators are free at both the Cruise Night and Car and Motorcycle Show.
