December Calendar and Events Reminders

Hi everyone.  Here is the Rollin’ Relics December 2013 Calendar.  I also have a few reminders of some coming events:

• December 3rd:  The Porterville Developmental Center Christmas Parade at 10:00 AM.
• December 5th:  The Porterville Christmas Parade.  If you have already committed to being in the parade, meet before 6:00 PM at School and Main Street.
• December 6th:  The Rollin’ Relics’ December Cruise Night at the Pizza Factory in Porterville.
• December 8th:  The Senior Council Dinner Dance.  Dinner will be served at 5:00 PM with dancing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  Tickets are available from Lloyd Winter.  The event will be held at Burton Middle School.

Rick Mosley Memorial

On Friday November 22, 2013, there is a Memorial Service for fellow Hot Rodder Rick Mosley.

Rick passed away on Friday, 11/15, after throwing a blood clot after neck surgery.  He was 65.  Those wishing to attend the service are requested to meet at Porterville Trailer at 9:00 AM.  Memorial Service is at 10 am at the Exeter Memorial Building.  After the full military service we will be escorted down Main Street to the Church of God for fellowship and food.

Rollin’ Relics Events Calendar

Here is the Events Calendar for November 2013.  Also of note:

• The Porterville Veterans Day Parade is this coming Monday (11/11/13).  Members will meet at 7:00 AM at the corner of School and Main Street near the Red Onion Burger restaurant to line up for the parade.  The Rollin’ Relics are #106 in the Parade.  The Rollin’ Relics will cruise to the Pizza Factory for lunch after the parade.
• November 16th will be the Nazarene Car Show.  The car show will run from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  Make sure to arrive early.  The show will be on Olive and Matthew Streets.
• On November 18th there will be a meeting for the Rollin’ Relics Annual Dinner Dance.  The meeting will be held at the Pizza Factory at 6:00 PM.  All members are invited and encouraged to attend and give their input for this popular event.
• The November Rollin’ Relics Meeting will be held on November 26th at the Santa Fe Depot.  Dinner after the meeting will be at Rosa’s.

November Cruise Night

Don’t forget.  This Friday, November First, the Rollin’ Relics’ Car Club will be having their monthly Cruise Night at the Pizza Factory in Porterville.  I hope to see you there.

Upcoming Events

• October 29th:  Rollin’ Relics October Monthly Meeting will be at the Santa Fe Station at 6:00 PM.  Members are encouraged to bring new member prospects.  Dinner will be at the El Neuvo restaurant on Prospect after the meeting.
• November 2nd:  will be the Tulare Veterans Day Parade.  Members will meet for the line up at Porterville Trailer and will leave at 8:30 AM to gather at VIP Pizza in Tulare.  The parade starts at 9:30 AM.  Lunch afterwards will be at Farmer Boys.
• November 11th:  The Porterville Veterans Day Parade.  More information to follow at the Monthly Meeting Tuesday.

Weekend Events Reminders

This Saturday, October 26th is the Clubs’ cruise to Three Rivers.  Meet at Crouzet Irrigation Supply on Linda Vista and 65 at 9:30 AM.  We will hook up with the rest at the Chevron Station on 65 and Spruce at 10 AM.

Club meeting is Tuesday October 29th at 6 PM at the Santa Fe Station.  Dinner at El Nuevo on Prospect after the meeting.

Plan on being in the Veterans parade on November 2nd.  Information to follow.

Weekend Event

Just a quick reminder that Annual Fall Festival and Parade in Exeter is this Saturday, October 12th.  Meet at the Trailer Sales at 7AM to cruise to Exeter and be in the parade.  The Car Show will follow the Parade.
