Updated December Calendar

Here is the updated December 2017 Rollin' Relic's calendar of events.  Click on the calendar below for a larger image.  There are a few notable changes:

• This Friday December 1st is the Rollin' Relic's December Cruise Night at the Pizza Factory.  There will also be a Toys for Tots toy drive.  Please bring a new unwrapped toy to donate.
• December 2nd, the Applebee's Porterville Museum Fund Raiser Breakfast.  This will take place from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, and tickets will be $10.
• The Senior Christmas Dinner at Burton Middle School will take place on December 10th, not December 3rd.  Tickets must be purchased in advance.
• December 20th, the Rollin' Relic's December Christmas Dinner will be at Randy's.  Contact Phyllis Taylor ASAP if you need information regarding prices and meal choices.
• There will be no Rollin' Relic's meeting at the Santa Fe Senior Center on December 26th.  The next club meeting will take place on January 30th.

Rollin' Relic's Christmas Celebration

Below is the dinner menu for our Christmas Celebration on  WEDNESDAY December 20 th at 6 PM    

Please call Phyllis at 359-1135 to make your reservation for that evening - YOU will pay for your meal at the restaurant that evening 

Please call BEFORE the Dec 12 th so that I may turn in the selections to the restaurant.    

If for any reason you need to cancel PLEASE let me know so that I can revise the order. 

                DECEMBER DINNER CELEBRATION Wednesday  December 20th, 2017  at 6 PM 

              Randy’s Restaurant                           1549 West Olive                               Porterville, CA

      ALL dinners include the following; 

             Salad, Rosemary potatoes, vegetables, non- alcoholic drink and DESSERT 

 New York Strip Steak                   $30                         Chicken Marsala                           $26

 Baked Salmon                               $30                         Chicken and Brocolli Pasta         $25

     Dessert is either Lemondrop Cheesecake or Chocolate Cake   - choose one per person.

                  Cost includes tax and tip – there are no other charges 

                                   Alcohol is available at extra cost

November Meeting

Tuesday November 28 th is our monthly meeting at the Santa Fe Depot at 6 PM  Dinner after the meeting is at Don Vinos on Main St for TACO TUESDAY. We will be signing up for our December DINNER CELEBRATION in place of our regular meeting.    Dinner choices will be announced and sign ups will be available at this meeting.     Payment for dinner will be made directly and individually at the restaurant.

Rollin' Relic's Poker Run

Reminder that our annual POKER RUN is tomorrow Saturday November 18th -

The Run starts with Registration from 8 am - 9 am at the Porterville Airport 1893 S Newcomb

The run is approx. 100 miles and will end by 12:30

At Registration you will receive further instructions and directions for the first card stop.


Your First Poker hand is $10, additional hands are available for $5.each .

There will be an opportunity to draw a last chance card at the final stop for an additional $5.

ALL HANDS must be turned in by 12:30 PM


After expenses the pot will be divided between the BEST HIGH and LOW ball hand.

Strathmore Car Show

Tomorrow is the Strathmore Elementary School Car School at 23024 Ave 196, Strathmore.   The show runs from 12 noon until 2:00PM   Members that signed up to participate have already been reminded about the event.  HOWEVER - YOU can go as well - just show up at the school by 11:30 am. Veterans Day Parade Reminder

Just a reminder that the Porterville Veterans Day Parade is tomorrow morning.  Line up on School Street by 7:00AM, and judging will begin at 8:00AM.  We must be decorated and in line to be given consideration for an award!

 

Veteran's Day Parade

The Porterville Veterans Day Parade is this coming Saturday November 11th. 

 

 

Rollin Relics is entry #58 in the Parade 

 

 

Please line up on School Street by 7 am. And decorate your cars.

 

 

Cars will be judged at 8:00 am  for the decorations and number of entries in the show

 

 

We are asked NOT to throw candy into the crowd as it is dangerous with kids running towards the moving cars to pick up the candy
